I went to the dentist yesterday. While I was there I made the monkeys all appointments for their first dentist visit! They told me that they wanted to carry them back one at a time. I told her that they best make them on different days then. I am not to sure that they would have got Andy & Levi to go back by their selves if they were both there. So Andy goes the first of Feb. Abbie and Levi are going in March. This should be interesting. But I did warn Dr Green that they do bite!

They have been so ill today. It has been rainy all day today and they have not got to go out side. If it had not been so cool on top of the rain I would have got their rain coats out and we would have went walking. But it is supposed to be sunny tomorrow so they will be getting out of the house. I am not sure what we will do if it gets really cold again. But I am with them. Some days I want out of this house so bad. Just to walk around in the yard is enough to make me feel better. But they don't want to come back in, even when it is really cold out.

We are planning a trip to the Georgia Aquarium. I am looking forward to it so much. We will be meeting another triplet mom or 2 there. Can you see it now, 3 women and 9 kids. I think we will attract some attention. I have not told the monkeys about it yet. I will more than likely wait until the day before to tell them. They don't understand - next week or next month yet so they get mad at me if I tell them about things to far in advance.

I wish there was something close by that they would enjoy. There is the Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort in Waco. But that seems more like an outdoor thing. So we will be waiting until summer to check it out. It sounds like it would be cute. There was the Rocky Branch Railroad in between Villa Rica & Temple but I can't get their web site to come up so I am not sure it is still open. Next time I am in Villa Rica I will have to check this out. But that could be a while. Anybody have any ideas of anything around here I haven't thought of? Suggestions are welcome.

Yesterday I went to the doctor to get my tetanus shot. Abbie went with me and the boys went with Mike. On the was to the doctor Abbie asked where we were going. She was not sure she wanted to go with me to the doctor. The She told me - fake cough- "Abbie no feel good." I told her I was fine I just had to get a shot. She thought she felt a lot better after that.
At the doctor's office they spotted Abbie really quick. They love to see the monkeys. I think Abbie is the only one they have seen in the office. Just seen the others around town. So they all talked to her and made over her. She was having a blast with "her public". Like I tell her she is a little princess.

Mike & the boys got out and walked while we were gone. They called papaw to go with them. I think papaw was impress that they never seem to wind down. They are like the energizer bunny - they just keep going and going. They loved getting out and walking with daddy & papaw. Maybe they can do it again today!!!!

When we got home they were drawing on the car port with their sidewalk chalk. Thanks Aunt Judy! They love this stuff. I have got to see if I can find them some more.
It is yuck out side right now. I have a dentist appointment this afternoon, but I am hoping that it clears up and we can get out of the house some after I get back.

I am going to start spring cleaning. I want to get most of the things in my bedroom that they don't need to get into put up so we can leave the door open at night. I will have to put a door knob cover on the bathroom door. I am not even going to try to monkey proof my bathroom!
They are getting big enough to come crawl in the bed with us some times. I know most people would think it was strange that they have never really done this, but think about it. There are 3 of them - if they all came and got in our bed we would have to find some where to sleep.

Having triplets is great, I would not change a thing. But there are so many things I feel like we missed out on because there were 3 of them. Like holding them all the time and them being the center of the world when they were born. They were, but they had to share this. Like deciding to run to town or anywhere for that matter. With one you just go. With 3 you have to plain ever thing. Not as much now as when they were smaller. But there are things that you get to be part of because they are triplets. Like the bond that they have. This has been there since they were tiny babies. I know most brothers & sisters have this, but it grows as they do.. These 3 got here with it. The boys can look at each other and they never say a word and go start doing something. It is like they know what the other one is thinking.
Oh and let not forget what 3 toddlers the same age can get into. It has been the normal fighting and making a mess lately, thank goodness.

Someone told me when they were little that they would not wish triplets on their best friend or their worst enemy. I under stand this now. I thought they were crazy at the time. You would not with them on your best friend because of all you & they miss out on because there are 3 of them. You would not wish them on your worst enemy because of all the great things you get to experience because there are 3 of them.

Got to go I hear something in the living room sounds like lots of little pieces.

Friday we had a really good day, most of it. It was pretty out side and we went out. The monkeys were playing out in the yard. Swinging, fighting, digging in the dirt, just having a good day. I was stripping old paint off of a swing to go on the front porch. Levi decided that he wanted to watch me for awhile. Soon all 3 of them were on the carport with me. They had the sidewalk chalk drawing on the carport. I was still working on the swing. Levi or Andy called me and I turned to see what he wanted and the scraper slipped and I cut my finger. Blood going everywhere. Lets go in the house. NO! Mamas bleeding, lets go in the house. NO I am not ready. I finally got them in the house and went into the bathroom to get something. I get back to the kitchen, Andy has a gallon of milk out, 3/4 full drinking out of it. Levi is dumping the mop water in to the floor. That's what I get for not dumping it first thing before we went out. I still have not looked at my finger. Wrap another paper towel around it and start cleaning up the mess. Abbie says Mama, Mama. What Abbie, she points to my bedroom. I ask her are the boys in there. Yes. I go get the boys out of my bedroom. Tell them they can't go in there with out Daddy or Mama. Go to finish in the kitchen. Mama, Mama. What Abbie, she points to my bed room, again. Boys back in there? Yes. I go get them out again. Grab a bunch of dirty towels to soak up the rest of the mop water. And then I get to look at my finger. It is pretty deep, but not to big. So I think I will just put a band aid on it and go on. Then I get to thinking about a tetanus shot. I think the last one I had was about 15 years ago. So Monday morning I get to go to the doctor and get me a shot. Just in case. This was all around 5 in the afternoon, everything went down hill after that. The boys got into everything after that. They pulled the books off the bookshelves. They trashed their room and Abbie's. Well at least the first part of the day was good.
Sat. we didn't do anything. Granny called and wanted to go to town Sat afternoon. So around 4 we went with granny to Bremen. We started home around 7. They didn't like this. It was dark. They are at home when it gets dark. I don't think we have been out after dark over maybe 10 times that they can remember.
Today we went to Alyssa's birthday party she was 1. They had a good time. But the boys love babies. They wanted to play with her so bad. Holding her hand and talking to her. Abbie could have cared less, where's the cake, didn't you say this was a birthday party. Then we came home and got daddy. Off to Captain D's for supper. This was a first for them. They ate OK. But they had ate cake & junk at the birthday party. But it started getting dark. "READY TO GO HOME, ITS GETTING DARK!" But we went to granny & pops and stayed awhile. That was OK with them. Then home & to bed. Levi pitched a fit wanting a big cup with a straw. Thanks granny. Granny had let them drink her milk. 3 straws 1 glass. So now they don't want their sippy cups. Oh well.
Off to bed! Good Night!
