Almost Christmas!

Well I went to bed the night after I found out that Abbie had to pee in a cup trying to figure out how I was going to get this done. I got her to pee in a baggie in her potty chair. This is why I don't sleep at night. I go to bed trying to figure out how to get things done around here.

Andy did really good seeing Dr Coleman. He was not happy about the 2 shots. On the way home I told him the same thing I had told Abbie about not telling Levi about the shots. He said OK, I should have known better! He walked in the door telling Levi "You gonna get 2 shots and it hurt!". Oh well so much for not telling Levi. But Levi did great, even knowing he was going to get 2 shots. All 3 passed the hearing test. That just tells me it is that "male hearing" thing. You know the one where you can talk to a man and they never hear anything you say. Andy & Levi are 4 years old and already have a really bad case of this. I do know they cough it from, their daddy! Levi has to go see a heart doctor the first of Jan. We have already done this one time, but Dr Coleman thinks we need to get it checked one more time. It has been 2 years since the last time it was checked. Best I can remember we were told it was something he would grow out of. I sure hope that is all there is to it.

I have all my Christmas shopping done. Everything wrapped and under the tree, except their stocking suffers and what Santa is bringing. Most everything they are getting is wrapped under the tree. Abbie's is in princess paper. Levi's is in batman paper. Andy's is in Spider man paper. For some reason they think what is wrapped in princess paper is Granny's. What is in Batman paper is pops. And the stuff wrapped in Spider man paper is Uncle Alan's. So far this has kept them from opening anything. They get it out from under the tree and look at it but they have not opened any of it. They were telling pops about it and he told them that they were going to have to open his and tell him what it was. Pops got in big trouble over that one!

Mama and I carried the monkeys to see Santa the other day. They were looking forward to it. This is the first year that they have actually talked to Santa and told him what they wanted. Well the boys told him what they wanted. Abbie told him she could not decide. He told her that hers would be a surprise then. This is from their first Christmas. 2005This is their 2nd Christmas. 2006This is their 3rd Christmas - 2007This is their 4th Christmas - 2008
This is this years Christmas picture with Santa. It is so hard to me to believe they are this big!
They each have a small Christmas tree in their rooms. Ever since I got them out pops has been telling Abbie that he wants her tree. Abbie has told him "NO - it's a girl tree!" And he keeps bugging her about it. They stayed with granny & pops Wed. for me to finish shopping. While they were there pops told them he really needed Abbie's tree so Santa would come and see him. They fussed with him most of the time they were up there about it. After we got home Andy and Levi told me that pops did not need Abbie's tree because he was on the bad list and he was not getting anything any way. Pops loved this!

Rain, Rain, GO AWAY!!!! I am so tired of all this rain! If you walk in our yard you get mud all over you! Today we got 2-1/2" in a few hours. The ground has already soaked up all it can, so it is just on top of the ground. Even when it is not raining we don't go out much. I can deal with the monkeys getting muddy every once in a while. But not every time they go out in the yard! This is a couple of pictures from our back yard. Needless to say we are going to have ditches out there when all this is over. Andy & Levi were looking out Levi's window at all this today. They told me that if they were out side they could see this a lot better. Yea, not happening!

It has stopped raining right now. I am hoping we don't get anymore, But I am not that lucky. I just looked at NOAA. Maybe it won't rain! Here is the forecast up to Christmas Day.

The monkeys would love snow! There was a big frost the other morning. Levi wanted to know what it was, was it snow. At least the ground would be frozen and we would not get stuck in the mud!

Night all!
