Happy 6th Birthday to my babies! I still can't believe it has been 6 years! Time is passing by way to fast!

We went to Callaway Gardens Fantasy in lights with Old Hopewell Church. It was beautiful! These pictures don't even start to show just how beautiful it was!

Well time to come up with a picture for our Christmas card this year. This always starts out good and goes down hill from there! I try to get some good shots in a hurry because I never know how long it is going to be good.

And this is what I ended up doing. Really did not get a good picture so I just used several of what I had. I think it turned out OK.

I have 3 sick monkeys. Carried them to the doctor on Monday and they all have strep. They are going back to school tomorrow. I am hoping they do OK. This is our first dealings with strep. So far I am not caring for it to much. I think we will pass on it from now on! Hopefully!

Getting Ready for Halloween!

The monkeys went to the pumpkin patch last week. I am such a good mom, I forgot the camera, so I don't have any pictures. But we did carve the pumpkins that they got. You notice I said "we". Well they told me what they wanted carved and I was supposed to carve it. Just in case you can't tell what each one is, one is a dog, one is a cat and one is a jack-o-lantern. I think Abbie for some reason, picked the smallest one she could find. I almost did not have enough room to get a mouth on hers!

This is Levi's dog. If you are wondering what the big cut outs on the sides are, well those a floppy ears. Well Levi told me that was what they were!

Here is Andy's cat. Notice the whiskers, It also has ears, pointy ones!

This is Abbie's jack-o-lantern. Just for size, notice it is not as tall as the step up going up on the porch. Another inch or two to work with would have been nice.

The boys started cutting up wanting their picture made. They can be so sweet, to be so mean!

Then Abbie got in to the picture.

Then I had to get one of them sitting with all the pumpkins.

We also tried on the costumes. Good thing we did. I have got to take up the boys. There about 5 or 6 inches to long! Arms and legs! So I have got to take them up. Levi told me that when I did this I have to leave Bumble Bee's feet. So somewhere on the legs of these things I have to get rid of a lot of material!

August 1st! This was not a day that everyone was looking forward to. Two little boys were NOT looking forward to this day. Miss Prissy, well she was. She was up and ready to go before we had to. This did not go over well with the boys! August 1st was the first day of kindergarten camp!

We started with breakfast. This did not go good. Levi told me what he wanted and that is what I fixed. I think I must of put the icing on the wrong side of his toaster pastry. Because he was mad. As in in the floor having a fit. He has not pitched this kind of fit in so long.

Like I said Abbie was ready for school! She had missed school since pre-k got out in May!

Andy, well he was sort of OK. He was not happy about it, but was dealing better than Levi. This really surprised me!

Then everyone got dressed. I was having to do some fast talking to get the boys to get dressed. So after much though I told them (Andy & Levi) that lizard and kitty could could go to school with them. They really look kind of happy here!

Then we get to school...

Abbie was great! Found out which class she was in and she was ready to go! I did not get many pictures. It was hard to follow Abbie to make hers with the boys attached to eat leg!

Andy was OK, not good but dealing with it.

There really has not been much going on since school started. School during the day. Homework at night and try to spend a little time with each other on the weekends. It is going by so fast!
The only bad thing from my point of view is the crap they are catching in school. The school nurse thought they were getting pink eye. Nope they didn't but I did. Then the stomach virus! YUCK! No fun what so ever and you know they have to share it and have it one at a time! Right now I am hoping that we are over the last of that mess! I thought it was over with. Abbie was the last one sick and that was this past weekend. She had complained with her belly ever since she had been sick. Then last night Abbie woke up screaming and crying. So off to the ER. We were there a little over 4 hours. The doctor told us that it was like her belly had went to sleep while she was sick and it just woke up. And when it woke up it was quite painful! She was some better today and has slept good so far tonight.

The monkeys wanted their picture made a few weeks ago.

They are getting so big! It is less than a month and they will be 6 years old. It does not seem like it has been six years.

I have faced the fact that my babies are in school now. Most days are good and there is not a lot of tears when they have to go. They are doing good and are making new friends. And lizard and kitty are still attending school. They may get to go for several more years. If that makes my boys feel better and deal with school better, hey, if they hold up they can have a cap and gown when they graduate high school for all I care!

Right now I am trying to get everything together for their birthday party. I have no idea of how many kids will be there. 3 classes with around 17 kids in each invited to the party. Plus everyone else! Going to be fun!

We have been busy this summer!

Abbie has discovered crafts. It does not take a lot for her to call something a craft. I think she is going to be a paper shredder when she grows up. Walked in her room a few days ago and this is what it looked like!

She was having a ball, I can't stand the mess. So we cleaned her room. Much better!

Then I made the mistake of going in to the boys rooms! Here is Levi's. Looks like the toy box blew up in there!

And after a quick clean up!

Then Andy's room. His is normally clean. He does not ever stay in there, so it should be clean!

And after. They will not stay this way!

Last week, after several nights of Levi and Andy having to sleep in the same room it was decided that Levi and Andy would move into the same room. Well it took all day, but I moved Levi's bed and clothes into Andy's room. They are now sharing a bedroom. And Levi's room is now the toy room. Abbie's room now looks empty! But so much better. Now I have to get in the toy room and get all the toys they have out grown, trashed or never liked out of there. Then maybe they will have some room to play in there!

We went with the youth from Old Hopewell to the mall for a movie & terrific kid Tues. this past week. The monkeys had a ball!

We went to Tanners Beach with the church group. The monkeys loved it! They are ready to go back.

If I ever get the toy room finished I will try to get some pictures before the monkeys trash it!

Then Abbie had to get in on the action.

This lasted for a few min's and then she was finished. She slung those gloves off and I have not seen her with them again!

Well the school year is over. Next year they will be going to kindergarten. All day. I am not sure how we are going to deal with this. Me or them! They did so good at graduation! I am so proud on my monkeys!

This is Mike's grandmother Benefield's cabinet. I have had it up here for over 10 years. But I have finished it!!!!!!! Now it is my desk. Works great!

We got the monkeys pool up this week. They had to get in it. That water was COLD!!!! I still have not got in it. I really need to vacuum it out so I guess I may have to get in tomorrow. I sure hope that water has warmed up, a lot!

I have been working on my bedroom. It is now finished for the most part. I think it turned out good. Even if I did have to paint the walls green!

The pictures of each side of my dresser were painted by my grandmother Robinson. I am so glad I have these!

Levi drew this for me. All 3 of my monkeys! I think it is pretty good for a 5 year old!

We are so blessed! All 3 kids are well, as far as I know! Levi has to go back to the doctor to make sure his ear infections is better this week. I have been having some ear issues, but I would rather it was me than them!

The last 4 days... I don't really remember this week before Thursday! I am give out! OK - Lets see.

*Thursday the kids went to school. I picked them up, we came home, they snacked a little and we headed to the church. We went with the youth group to the museum, hospital and out to eat. We got home around 6 Thursday night. Just in time for baths and bed.

*Friday the kids went to the fire department. We left the fire department and went to a consignment sale in Carrollton. Picked up a few things we needed and came home. I started washing clothes. Trying to get as much as I could done. The dryer would not come on. So I called Mike and he got someone to come work on it. 3 1/2 hours/$$$ later the dryer is working. Got it and the washer going and they paged out a tornado warning. Turn everything off and load everyone up and head to granny's. Stayed up there until after 9, Back home and everyone in the bed!

*Saturday We headed to a birthday party at 11:00. After the party we went to Carrollton to the tractor show. Ended up staying there until around 3. Came home and sewed up a dress for Abbie and t-shirts for the boys for church Sunday. Then we had promised the monkeys we would roast marsh mellows. So out side to do that then back in the house baths & bed.

*Sunday we went to church. Came home ate lunch. Uncle Alan, Emily and Jonathan came for a while. Then back to church for the Easter program. Back home to get everything ready for the coming week.

Well, there are a few problems will will keep me up late tonight. There are no jeans clean for the boys to wear to school next week. Washing a load of jeans, no big deal. But there is a load of towels in the washer waiting to bed washed. I turned them on and washed them before we headed to church. Then at church we had finger foods for supper. Well Abbie loves strawberries. I am not sure how many she ate, but there was strawberry juice all down the front of the new outfit she had on. And I mean all down the front, along with the chocolate cake she ate. So this HAD to be washed before the stain set and would not come out.

So that is in the dryer right now and then the jeans have to go in. I do not like to go to bed and leave the dryer going so I will be up until it finishes.

*Next week - Tuesday the monkeys are having graduation pictures made at school. So I have to get everyone dressed up before school for their pictures. I have to carry all their clothes to change into after the pictures are made. Wednesday I am getting my eyes checked. I am hoping that this will take care of the headaches I am having right now. My glasses are not strong enough and this could be the problem. Thursday the monkeys are having an egg hunt and Easter party at school. So I will be there for that. Friday they are out of school! Saturday we are going to the egg hunt at church, Then Sunday we are going to church and then having an egg hunt here for the kids. On top of all the above, the grass has to be cut, the carport has to be cleaned up, clothes still have to be washed and the house HAS to be cleaned up. I still can not figure out how it gets so bad when we have not been here!

So here is my question... How do you do it? I am busy when I am awake. But I never seem to get any where near everything done that needs to be done. Even the basics, like clean clothes & dishes washed. I am going to try and make a BIG dent into my to do list tomorrow while the kids are in school. Then when they get home I am hoping they will play out side while I get some more done. And I hate them being outside with out me out there. But as long as they stay in the finced in area I have been letting them go out some by their selves. It does help that Abbie is out there. She will come tell me if the boys don't stay in there. I normally stay in the kitchen so I can see them while they are out there.

Oh another question, How old were your kids when you started letting them play out side by their selves. The road we are on is not the busiest in the world, but these folks fly by here. And we are not to far from the road. Plus snakes are now out, oh God, I had not thought asbout the snakes till just then. Well maybe they won't play utside by their selves after all. They may have to wait until Mike can go out with them.

I am going to make me a list right now of what has to be done, clothes, dishes, etc. And what I need/want to get done and just get going on it!

So any words of wisdom that anyone has, please let me know! And yes I know the kids are only going to be this age once and I need to not worry about it and spend time with them. I do, but we still have to live here and I am not one to walk through my house on a path through the mess! We still have to have clean clothes and dishes. So sooner or later it has to be done! And I do spend time with the monkeys, sometimes I think they wish I would leave them alone and not spend so much time with them!

I did make pictures of the monkeys at the fire department and at the tractor show. But I for got my camera so I ran by and got a throw away that has to be developed and I have not had them done yet. So there will be pictures at a later date.

The Spring Break from ...

OK before I get started on this week, Blogger has changed their set up. This is the first time I have seen it. So if things look funny, I may have to play with this to see what all it does now. Nope, I won't be doing much, it just looks different.

Monday, first day of Spring Break. The monkeys played till early afternoon and then went to Granny & Pops for the night. Mike and I cut grass and worked in the yard all afternoon. It looked like it was going to rain the whole time, once there was a few drops of rain. But it was comfortable out there and we got a lot done.

Then I cooked supper and we ate. I got to sit down and eat while it was hot! This might not mean much to most folks, before the kids I would have thought someone was kidding if they had told me they did not remember the last hot meal they got to eat. But it was great! Even if it was just hamburgers!

Then Mike had to go to work. I was planning on cleaning the house. Getting everything done in here and being pretty much done with it for the week. But I just could not get started. So I found a movie I wanted to watch, popped some pop corn, grabbed a coke and sat down to watch TV. Just as my butt hit the chair the power went out! So I sat there in the dark and ate my pop corn. Then I went out side and watched the lightening show. Around midnight I decided the power was not coming back on anytime soon so I went to bed.

I could not get comfortable. I tossed and turned and flipped and flopped. Around 1 am it hit. And when it hit, it hit hard! I had a virus. I did not know it at the time, but it is a MEAN virus. As the monkeys say I was pouring out.

Quick little tid bit here: When we were little we used to laugh at our moms and aunts for peeing when they laughed, sneezed or coughed. Well as of Monday night I have another one to add to the list. Pouring out. Yes, if I ever get sick I have to make sure I am sitting on the toilet. Another one of the things I need to thank my little ones for some day!

OK, back to Spring Break.

I was sick until around 10 the next morning! I had things hurting that I did not even know could hurt like that! (Tonight Mike and I figured up that it had been about 15 years since I had been sick and poured out. I was never sick when I was pregnant) It was 2 days before my back was not killing me.

Mike went and got the monkeys about 6:30 Tuesday night. Then he went to work. I am hurting so bad and feel like crap. The monkeys do not want to go to bed. I gave up about 9:30. I went to bed. They were in their rooms, not asleep but in their rooms. I woke up around 12 and they were all asleep, in their beds. I turned off their lights and TVs and went back to bed.

Wednesday was a pretty good day. I sat outside with the kids until Mike woke up. Then he carried them waking and I got a nap. Cooked supper, the monkeys all got baths and went to bed. A pretty good day.

We had plans to carry them to Jump USA the next day. Then... Mike got The Virus. It had been 2 days. I thought we were good, that I was the only one that would have it and it was done with. Boy was I wrong!

Thursday I got the monkeys dressed and we headed out. They had a blast! Did not want to leave the "jumping place". But I had told them we would go get pizza. So off to the pizza place. Ordered our pizza, all is good. 5 minutes later Levi is laying all over me. I asked if he was OK. Yea, just tired.

Not 2 minutes later he was pouring out. I took care of him. Went over and told Andy and Abbie we needed to go. Andy informed me he had not finished his pizza. He was not going to leave until he finished his pizza! I ended up tossing his plate, making him mad, to get him to leave.

Got home got Levi settled in the living room floor. He was sick for a few hours. By bed time all was well again. Well until 11 pm. Then it got Abbie. So I was up with her until around 4. The next morning everything is back to normal. The monkeys played and I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. I also sprayed Lysol. I sprayed so much Lysol I could taste it. And I hate Lysol.

Friday night everyone slept. It was so nice.

Saturday, this morning, we got up had breakfast and headed outside. I had so many things on my to do list for this week that I had not even got close to doing. So I washed the van and cleaned off the cart port. That is when the monkeys let me know they were ready to go back inside. OK, I have things to do in there also. I stayed busy and they played all afternoon. Ate supper and got baths. Another good night. Got the monkeys in the bed and sat down to fold clothes and watch TV with Mike.

MAMA!!!!! Its back! Andy has it now. So I am up at 2 in the morning washing the 2 sets of sheets Andy has already got through tonight. I am hoping that he is not going to be sick anymore. He is not a good patient. I told Mike he was in here pouring out one minute and fussing and griping about being sick when he wasn't. But he is sleeping now.

So right now the longest that has gone by between folks getting sick is 2 days. So if we make it till Tuesday morning with no one getting sick the monkeys will go back to school. So they will be getting another day off for Spring Break.

I was thinking to day. Christmas while they were out of school we all had the flu. Spring break we all have this mess. I am not looking forward to them getting out for the summer!

Well it is 3:35 am, I am going to go put some more sheets in the dryer and I am going to see if I can get a couple hours sleep.

Yea I know, it has been a while! Not to much going on. Heading to Church on Sunday morning. I am not sure why they decided to hold hands, but they did. I LOVE the look on Miss Abbie's face!!!

Abbie decided that Levi needed a kiss. They rolled around on the floor for almost an hour.

I thought she got him right here, but she did not give up.

Levi almost kicked her in the face. This I did put a stop to.

And then... She got him. He got up wiping his face and told he he hoped that she was happy. It was rather funny watching this!

The monkeys have discovered Nintendo. I have developed a new hate of Nintendo! They LOVE it, way to much! I think it stayed out a couple of weeks. Then it was put up. It got to where that was all they wanted to do. Did not want to go outside and play, nothing but Nintendo! So the Nintendo went back into the drawer. I am not sure when it will come out again, I will have to be VERY desperate to drag it out again. It is gone now and they are going outside to play and playing with their toys and such again. Glad it is gone.

BBK went to the Anniston Museum of Natural History. We went here often before the monkeys turned 5. It was free before they were 5. Now not so free. Here Levi is looking at a little monkey. He though it was so cute!

When we left we went to McD's for lunch. Not my favorite place to go, but we had a good time.

I got to sit beside this little cutie! She would make the funniest face every time she took a bite of this ice cream. So cute! We need another baby in the family, anyone want to have one?

Like I said, not to much been going on. Now next month is another story. The monkeys are out of school for spring break next week. BBK is going to the fire department one day. They are going to get their cap & gown pictures made. They will be having an egg hunt and a Easter party. So next month will be busy, I will have to remember to take my camera with me.

We went for a walk in the woods last weekend. The monkeys were ready to go, until about half way back to the truck. Then they did not want to go any further. They wanted to be carried. At around 50 lbs each that was not happening! They were 3 happy monkeys when we got back to the truck!

Abbie decided that she wanted curly hair. So after she got her bath I rolled her hair on sponge rollers. Before I got the other 2 monkeys cleaned up they had to have a book read to them.

Then baths for the boys and bed for all 3. After they were in bed I don't think Abbie was quite as sure she wanted curly hair. She went to sleep after a while. She looked so sweet with all those rollers in her hair!

I had to get pictures of Levi and Andy also! They are so sweet when they are asleep!

The next morning when I took the rollers out of Abbie's hair she took off for the mirror to see what it looked like. She came back into the living room and told me she did not want to go to school with her hair like that! I told her it would look better after I brushed it. And it did! It was so cute!

I did not think there would be any curl left in it when she got home but there was. It lasted for 3 days. Tonight she had to have it rolled again. She likes it like that. It is supposed to rain tonight/tomorrow wonder how long it will last this time.

Levi wanted his picture made with batman. So here is Levi and batsie! It makes him so mad when I call batman batsie boy!

Oh well I think I may head towards the bed. Kind of tired to night and I have a bunch that I need to do tomorrow!

Hey!

Andy and I are having some one on one time this weekend. I guess I tired him out today. He was asleep by 7:45 tonight. Poor thing! The one night that he could stay up as long as he wanted and he went to sleep!

That just gives me time to get the blog caught up!

Andy has really been putting it on Levi lately. What Andy can't figure out is why Levi lets into him when he gets a chance. Well Levi will take and take and take. Then he has had all he is going to take and he fights back. When he does this Andy had best watch out. But Andy has not figured this out yet, well he may have after this time!

There is a place above eye on the right side and one below his eye on the left side. Maybe, maybe he learned something after this time!

Abbie and the boys have started helping me clean the kitchen after dinner, some, not much, sometimes their help makes me have lots more work!

See what I am talking about? Levi is showing me the dish rag, water is not dripping off this, it is pouring off it!

This is Abbie's room. She does not understand why I tell her she needs to clean her room. Well Abbie, BECAUSE I CAN'T GET TO THE BED!!!! The door will not close, can't get to the closet or dresser, do I need to go on!!!

She does play with all this unlike the boys, they just drag everything out!

Abbie and the boys had a tea party the other day. Well they were all in the same room anyway. Levi had a tea party with his teddy.

And Mike wonders why I ask him what is wrong all the time! Look at the look on his face! And the monkeys can give these looks! He will come ask me what is wrong with them! Nothing, they are just giving it back to you!

I went to check on the monkeys before I went to bed one night. Not only were the boys sleeping together, they were on the same pillow! So cute! I had to get a picture!

Then I had to get one Of Abbie also!

For some reason she was sleeping at the foot of her bed. If she does not have a problem with it, neither do I!

Emily & Jonathan came over an stayed with us for a while one night. For some reason all the monkeys had to be on top of and all over Jonathan and Uncle Alan!

Lets see, Uncle Alan, Abbie, the back of Levi's head & hiney, Andy and that is Jonathan under Andy. But everyone was laughing and having a good time.

We went to the Valentine party at Old Hope Well. I am not sure why I got the looks from the monkeys I did in this picture.

Well that is because my computer went crazy and I pretty much lost most of the pictures I had on here. I have a few of them on disk but I am not going to look for them right now.
Well I found out what was wrong with the monkeys and me. On Tuesday when it was time for them to go back to school they were all fever free, had been for over 24 hours. So I sent them back to school. By Tues evening the fever was back. All nigh and the next morning they still had fevers, me too! So we all went to the doctor. We all had the flu! The boys had ear infections. I had a sinus infection and Eustachian tube blockage/infection. Fun, fun, fun! The doctor said no school for the next week. Well that worked out really good with the weather. So they went the Tuesday before they went to the doctor on Wednesday. Out Thursday and Friday then it snowed and iced. So school was out the next week. By the time they got to go back to school they were all well! It was Friday before I let them or out of the house. Partly because everything had a sheet of ice on top of it and I did not care to bust my butt! But they had a ball when they did get out there. It did not take them long to decide it was a lot more fun to slide down hills on their belly!
They all went to the dentist last week. He said they were doing good. I am so glad! While we were all sick brushing every ones teeth was the last thing I thought about! Speaking (writing) of teeth, Abbie lost another tooth! She was so excited. The tooth fairy brought her a necklace. I have got to get a stock pile of $1's. They told me that Andy and Levi's were starting to get loose. I can't tell they are but I am getting ready!

I went in to check on Abbie the other day, she was having a tea party. Her, pillow pet and Pablo.

Abbie is the Star Of The Week at school this coming week. We had to do a poster about her. This is what we ended up with. This was some more fight. The boys were mad because Abbie was getting to do this. Never mind that they will get to do it when they are star of the week. But we got it finished and here it is.
Andy is the leader tomorrow and Abbie is Star Of The Week. This means that Levi is not happy! He told me that tomorrow was going to be the worst day ever. I hope it is better than he thinks it is going to be!

Well my van is sick. Not sure what it is going to cost to fix it. Please say a little prayer that it is not as bad as we think it may be! Thanks!

OK Let me start by saying I uploaded the pictures backwards. So I will start with now and go back to before Christmas. I am kind of tired today. Abbie ran a fever all night last nigh and I was up with her most of the night. Now Abbie and Levi are running fevers. I am really feeling crappy so I took mine a few mins ago, it was 99.9. NOT GOOD! I can not be sick at the same time they are! I don't think I can handle that! But thinking back this is a first. I have not really been sick but 1 time since they were born. Well other than sinus infections and that sort of thing. So I guess I can't complain to much.

I just took Andy's temperature it is 100.7. So it is official, we all have it. And it is viral or Andy's antibiotics are not working!
Mister Andrew, He has had an ear infection for 2 1/2 weeks now. Got to go back to the doctor after this round of antibiotics and see if it is better then.
Mister Levi - Not really sure what is wrong with him. Just running a fever and feeling crappy.
Miss Abigail - I think she is feeling the worse of all of us. She did not sleep much last night (there fore I did not sleep much). Her fever has been anywhere from 100.4 to 103.7. Judging from today, tonight might be even more fun.
Anyway, I sure hope the monkeys are feeling better soon. School starts back Tuesday and they have really been missing it!
I think the monkeys are set for the night.
That leaves me with... the couch!

When I carried Andy back to the doctor Wednesday we went by WM to check out the clearance stuff. We ended up getting 3 bath sets for them to play with. They had a ball with this mess. I have never got any of this mess because of the mess it makes. But I gave in, once.

Levi & Andy, These 2 really had a good time! They were in there for 45 mins at least. I had to make them get out after I got tired of adding hot water.
Andy got a fishing rod thing. Levi got a basketball goal. They are laying in the water and shooting hoops. I was funny!
We had Christmas at Mikes folks house Tuesday night. The monkeys got Zoo Zoo (not sure about the spelling of that) pets. They had a ball playing with those things!
Abbie and I think a bunny rabbit. Mike in the back ground with his news paper. Over the years he has turned me against a news paper! Around here there are only 4 or 5 pages to a paper. More than likely 2 of those are going to be Piggly Wiggly advertising. But Mike will set down with one of these papers and read everything in it. More than once I think or he is a very slow reader (I know he is not) or he is just avoiding us! Yep I think the last one is correct!

We got snow Christmas Day. At least 4 inches. The monkeys loved it, me not so much. I love to watch it snowing, but I like it when it is gone by dark, does not stick to the road and most of all the power does not go off. Well the power did not go off, I guess I need to look at the bright side of things! I had to carry Andy to the Doctor Wednesday after this snow on Saturday, Christmas Day, There was still ice on the roads in places around here. Once you got about 2 or 3 miles away from here there was not much snow and I did not see any ice.

These are a few pictures from the monkey's Christmas play. They did so good! Abbie was a grandchild. Levi was an inn keeper. And Andy was a king. They had a really good time! The Sunday after their play Abbie got up in church and sang Away In A Manger with some other kids! She did so good!

My baby girl lost her first tooth! She was so scared! But it was just hanging on by a thread. I ended up wrapping a tissue around it and pulling it. It was so loose I was afraid she would swallow it!
She has another one loose. Maybe we can hold off on it for a while!

I am catching up, once again. So here are some pictures form the last month or so!

Poor Professor Cat. The monkeys are piling leaves on him and he is just laying there letting the. He is a good kitty!

The monkeys got new swings. Looking at these pictures they also got a bath shortly after going in the house. Abbie looks like a little pig!

Abbie wanted to have a camp fire and roast marsh mellows. So we did. Never mind it was misting rain, the wood was wet and it took a can of charcoal lighter fluid to get the fire going.
We did have a good time. The only real problem we had was after the boys found out the marsh mellows would burn. Then on top of that, Mike told the to wave them in the air to put the fire out. Did you know that after they burn long enough and you wave the stick around they are on you will have a flaming marsh mellow missile going through the air in God knows what direction! It did get dangerous after that!

The monkeys had to go for the 5 year check ups yesterday. It went really good until the S word was used. SHOTS! NOOOOOOOO. No one wanted a shot much less 2! I did really good until it was Levi's turn and he yelled, and I mean YELLED, "MOMMY DON"T LET THEM DO IT TO ME!!!!!!" I almost got my babies and left. But they got their shots. They survived and so did I. When we left we went to McD's for a happy meal, ice cream cone and some therapy on the indoor play ground. This helped their feeling so much.
Levi has been coughing and cruddy for a few days. Well last night the fever started. So I was up with Levi most of the night. This morning all 3 of them are in a mood. I am blaming most of it on the shots. But started Levi on the meds the doctor gave him for a sinus infection. All three are taking pain meds for the shots. I am sure hoping that their mood improve soon!
So today this is what my living room looks like. At least we are still getting some use out of the baby bed mattresses!

OK - I am getting really bad at this, I know. I will try to do better!

The monkey's went trick or treating at pre school. I had one batman, one spider man and a doctor. The had a great time and got tons of candy! Way more than we needed here!

The monkeys wanted to play with play dough. I HATE play dough. This is why.
It some how ends up in the floor. And for some reason once it hits the floor, they are no longer responsible for it. It then becomes my problem. Play dough does not sweep up well, unless you leave it till the next day and it gets hard. Then it is no problem to sweep up.

Happy Birthday Monkeys! They are 5! The last 5 years have gone by so fast! But I enjoy just sitting back and watching/listening to them. They sound so grown up!
They had a party at school. I fixed them a Snoopy cake for their party.

We had their birthday party in Bowdon on Sunday. We did a Three Ring Circus birthday party. I think things went really good! Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin Patch last week. It was OK, but I will not be heading back up there again any time soon. The monkeys loved it. Just not my thing to go sit on wet hay for a hay ride or walk around in red mud to look at animals pooping and the kids wanting to pet them. Or rolling around in corn and digging corn out of their clothes for the rest of the day. Sorry did not care for it. But like I said the monkeys loved it so, I am glad that we went. Granny got to go with us, I don't think she was any more impressed with it than I was. Here are some of the pictures that I made while we were there.

This was Levi's favorite thing... a chicken. If you know Levi you know that he loves chicken. That is almost all he will eat. Most kids would not want chicken after they saw one and found out where it came from. Not Levi I think he was looking at this chicken and seeing chicken nuggets!

This is the monkeys pre-k class. The monkey class. That is what they call them, so fitting.

This was a big hit. Anything to do with water seems to be a big hit with 4 year olds!

This was on the hay ride. Remember wet hay. They could have covered it up so it would have at least been dry. Nope, we all had wet butts for a while after this!

The monkeys had their picture made at school. It was fall pictures, but it was 80 degrees at the time during the day. Seemed kind of wrong to get these pictures made with them in shorts. So this is what I came up with. I think they are really good.

Granny and I are going to school with them tomorrow. We are going to go trick or treating in Bowdon. MAYBE it will not be raining! Then they are having their Halloween party at school.

Levi and Andy have found new hiding places. Works for me. If they would stay in there more I would even take the shelves out and give them a little more room. They thought it was so funny when I could not find them. Of course I heard the snickering long before I opened the doors and acted surprised they were in there!

It really did not surprise me that Levi could fit in here.
But I was a little shocked to see that Andy fit in there.

This past Wednesday we carried the monkeys to Cheaha to let them play for a while. They had a ball. There was no one else there and they had the play ground all to their selves. We left when they got out of school and had a pick nick when we got there. We were there for about 3 hours. There were so many people that would pull up and sit there and watch us. I guess I watch to much stuff on TV, but this really started making me nervous after awhile. No one stayed, just pulled up and sat there watching us. I had not said anything to Mike about it until right before we left. Come to find out he was filling the same way. So we loaded up and left. But the monkeys had a good time! They want to know when we are going back to "Cheeseha"!

I was cooking supper the other night and glanced over and saw the top of Mike's head. I had to get closer to see what he was doing. For some reason he was sitting in the floor playing with the monkeys magnets! The kids were in their rooms so I did not buy that he was playing with them! But my camera was in the kitchen so I got pictures!

Today when the kids got out of school we went to Kid Zone and they got to play for a bit. They had a ball!

Pre-K The First Week

Well we made it through the first week! The first day was the best. Levi teared up a little bit. But that was it for the most part. Wednesday: The teacher had to pull Levi off me. Abbie and Andy walked in and went to playing. Thursday: Mike was home and went with me to take them. He can not go back in the morning any more! It was twice as bad! I had to tell Mike to go out and I would be there in a minute! He was so close to telling Levi that he could go home with us. NO NO NO! You can not do that! Friday: Andy started when he got out of the bed. Telling me he did not get enough sleep and he was not going. Levi was fine. I think it took him by surprise that Andy was having such a fit. We were running late, it is really hard to get a 4 year old dressed that does not want to be dressed. When we got there I pulled up to the door to let everyone out. Thought maybe this might go over better. Well, not really. The lady who was helping get the kids out had to pull Andy out. The I just drove off while she dealt with him. BUT at lunch when I go to pick them up they are all laughing and having a good time!

Abbie is already asking when she can go back! The boys have not asked.

I told Mike that Abbie is like him and the boys are like me in the mornings. I go in to wake the boys first. I have to pull the covers off them, several times and keep telling them to get up. Abbie is up all by her self. "I ready to go mama"! So Like me the boys are not morning people. And like her daddy Abbie jumps up ready to go.

Thursday was Levi's day to bring snacks. I made monkey cup cakes for him. Seemed appropriate, I call the kids my monkeys and they are in the monkey class at school. Here are my monkey cup cakes. I think they turned out pretty good.They colored self portraits at school Friday. They were so proud of them and I got a good laugh from them. I did not tell them that of course! but here are their pictures!

On their 2nd day when we started in you could hear the kids crying. This was not a good thing. I knew one of them was going to start crying with the others. And they did. Poor Levi was trying his best not to cry, saying mommy don't leave me. I had to or I would have brought him back home with me! But the teacher said he did good after a few mins.

Tomorrow is Levi's snack day. He wanted cup cakes. Since they are my monkeys and they are in the monkey class I made monkey cup cakes. Well here is the finished cup cakes. The kids like them!

Well it is time to get the monkeys in the bed so they can get up "while it is still night" to hear Levi tell it!

Getting ready for Pre-K

Pre-K starts Tuesday. I think I can't wait, but then there is that little nagging feeling that my babies are going to school and I really am not sure I am ready for them to go to school, even if it is just pre-k! Another draw back of having triplets is ALL of them will be gone. All 3 of them at the same time. None of that easing into it, all or nothing! It is just 3 hours and I think I can deal with it! I think I can...

I have been racking my brain trying to come up with a way to deal with their clothes. I want to be able to get every thing ready on Sunday afternoon and not have to deal with it the rest of the week. I told Mike he might have to get them dressed one day and he would be lost! So after thinking about this for several days this is what I came up with.

It has 6 opening for each of them. So one opening for each day of the week and a spare one on the bottom for shoes and what ever. I even clipped Abbie's hair bows to go with her out fit on the side of her thing. I can get everything together on Sunday and just pull it out in the mornings and put it on them. Right now there is no and I mean NO batman, spider man, iron man or any other super hero going to be wore to pre-k. This will work as long as non of the other little ones come in wearing them. If they do I think I will tell them they can wear them on Fridays. They have to many clothes that are cute to wear that mess all the time.

Here are the monkeys ready to go meet their teacher, Ms Deborah. They had a really good time and seemed to like all the kids in their class.

Another good thing about that night was no one and I mean no one asked if I was their grand mother! Most of the other parents looked like they were in their mid 20's. Makes me feel old enough with out any one asking that terrible question!
Oh yea, Another wonderful thing about triplets. Most moms have to supply snacks for pre-k once a month. Twice at the most. Well lucky me, I get to do it every week! Every flipping week I have to come up with something for snacks for the class. I am just waiting to see what other things come up! They are all in the same class. I really would have like to have each of them in their own class but there was only 2 classes and I did not think that would be fair to the odd one out. We will see how it works out!

Miss prissy told me she wanted fluffy hair the other night. So I pulled out the sponge rollers and rolled her hair. She looked so cute! She even slept in these rollers.

And when we took it down the next day she had fluffy hair! So here is my pretty girl with fluffy hair!

Summer Time Fun!

Hot & Muggy

I am so ready for summer to be over with. Then I will be ready for winter to be over with. But anyway. It is so hot and muggy everyday that it is really hard to go out side. he longer I am out there the worse my head hurts. Then it will take forever to get that to stop. Come to think of it I really am not sure why they want to go out there anyway. They want in the pool. OK that last maybe and I do mean maybe 30 mins. Then they are ready to get out. What ever I am doing, even if it is just sweating on the carport, is so much more fun. So why not just get in the tub and then get out and follow me around in the house. With the AC. That just makes so much more sense to me. But they do not agree with me and I am out numbered on this. Come on Fall, I am ready for some cooler weather!
Monday night we had a thunder storm. I have NEVER seen lightening like that before. And it lasted for over an hour. The phone was ringing every 4 or 5 mins. There was no one there when it did this so I am guessing it was the storm causing it. Then there was a LOUD clap of thunder. Then the computer started popping. I say popping fell more like a small fire cracker going off in my living room. It did this twice and... RIP my poor computer, and modem. I am thinking that is all it got. But then again I don't think I have washed or dried clothes since Monday so there could be more. I will find out next Monday. I TRY to do all the washing and cleaning on Mondays. The we have the rest of the week to do other things... like sweat out in the yard with the monkeys! So Tuesday the kids went to granny & pops for the day. I was off to WM to get another computer. Got that. Got home, computer installed, modem does not work. Called the phone company. They tell me it is the either net cable. Send me back to WM to get another one. Get home with this and it still will not work. Now they are not sure what the problem is. I asked this "smart" person I was talking to if they thought the problem "might" be the fact that the modem got hit by lightening?!? I was told "well it could be". I had already told them the whole story, NEW computer - old modem. After about 10 mins it hit this "smart" person that maybe it was the modem. So they had to get it approved to send me a new modem. Then they come back and tell me that they are going to have to bill me for the modem. I am so confused... If you are going to bill someone for something I would think they would be the one approving sending out a new one. But anyway I was told I would have the modem the next day. Nope not here. Nor the next day. Called them back again. "Oh so sorry, you were misinformed" It will not be there until Friday. OK - I am really pissed now. Then this person had the gall to tell me "Thank You for your call and I hope I was able to answer all your questions and that you are satisfied with your service". Well NO - not unless you can run me a modem over here right quick. I think he wanted to hang up on me and could not at this point! I just though about something. I have inside wire maintenance. I wonder if that would cover the modem. I may just have to call them back!
Other than that not to much going on here. I have put up 5 - 5 gallon buckets of tomatoes. They will be good this winter, but I am so tired of peeling tomatoes!
We are going to go to Reese's birthday party tomorrow. Abbie is looking forward to this. She told me she was going to give Reese a big kiss when we get there! The boys just want to go somewhere, anywhere.
We did have a first here last night. Andy had a bad dream and come and got in the bed with Mike & me. They are 4 1/2 and that was the first time one of them has done that. But Andy had to tell the other 2 about it and I think they thought it sounded like lots of fun. I may be on the couch in the morning!

Our Mini Vacation

Last week we went to Chattanooga. We hit the Aquarium & the Creative Discovery Museum. We made it through about 3/4 of the Aquarium before they had had enough. I mean how many fish can you look at before you start getting board. They were tired and just wanted to sit down some where. We had thought about going to the imax movie but decided that might not be a good idea. If they went to sleep and then we had to wake them up, not good. So we decided to eat lunch. We went to the food court at the aquarium. Those folks are really proud of their little pizzas. $7.00 for a little pizza & $3.00 for a drink. So that would have been $50.00 for us to eat. So not happening! We ended up going to Friday's. It was so good! Also it was something different. There are no Friday's around here.
After lunch we went to the Creative Discovery Museum. The kids could have stayed here all day! Not Mike or me. It was fun watching them play, for the first hour or so. Then we started getting ready to go! But they were not! I think we stayed there for 2 1/2 or 3 hours!
We ended up leaving Chattanooga around 5:00. This was not a good thing! It was also storming when we left. There were warning all the way to Rome so we opted to go over towards Alabama and go down. We were only in about 5 or 10 mins of rain and no traffic once we got off the interstate. It was just a nice ride home.
We stopped in Fort Pane to eat supper. At McDonald's of coarse! There was an in door play ground and the monkeys had a ball. They were not ready to go home when we got ready to leave. I think we were there for about an hour.
We were about 15 minutes from home when Abbie decided that she needed to pee. We were in Borden Springs. NO bathrooms any where. So we stopped on the side of the road and got her out. She looked at me and asked if she had to pee in the grass. It was funny! But Abbie has now pee'd on the side of the road in the middle of no where! (in the grass!)
Alan had come and got the sick van to work on while we were gone. He brought it back after we got home. It was still sick. Wednesday I carried it to the parts store and got them to put it on their computer to see if it would tell us what the problem was. Yep, a $60 part. We had already spent around $400 to get to this $60 part. Well It really needed $200 wort of the work done. But the other $200 was just waisted. Oh well. It is fixed now! It is so much easier to load everyone into the van than it is the car. The monkeys are way to close in the car!

Swimming Pool & Lyme Disease

After working 4 days digging up grass, and I mean lots & lots of grass. Then 2 days of leveling up the ground. We got to put the monkey pool in. They have been playing in it for 3 days now and they love it! I do too! It is so pretty and clear, no green yuck! Thank God! Now if I can figure out how to keep the chemicals like they should be we will be doing good. This is some of the grass I had not gotten up yet.

The pool is up! The monkeys are in it! It is just right for them. It is about 2 feet deep and 10 feet across. It will also be just right for me to lay out in the sun in! Now if granny will just monkey sit. They tell me I can lay on a float with them in there. I might be slow, but no where near that slow!

The first of the week I noticed Levi had a bug bite under his arm. It look different, not like a normal bug bite, so I have been watching it. Thursday when they got out of the pool I was checking it out and noticed that it had a ring/rash around it. This really didn't look right. The bite did not look bad, but the ring made me wonder. For some reason, I guess I had read it some times in the past, I thought of Lyme Disease. So after getting granny to check it out I called the doctor. So we went in today. The doctor checked Levi out. Now there is NOTHING and I mean NOTHING wrong with this little stink. He has not slowed down a bit. After looking him over the doctor agrees that it is Lyme Disease. We could wait and do blood work in 4 weeks to make sure or start treating him now. We decided to start treating him now. So 21 days, 3 times a day, he will be taking antibiotics. He is not real happy about this, but he will get over it!

Tired!

I now have all the grass up where the pool is going. I started working on getting the ground level... for about 10 mins. Then I heard this unreal screaming (Abbie) and lots of giggling (Andy). When I looked over to see what was going on, Andy's shorts were around his ankles and he was peeing on Abbie! THIS IS NOT GOOD! Most things I can deal with and not totally loose it. BUT peeing on your sister or brother is NOT going to happen and if it does, heaven help you! Andy was wishing for some of that help today! And I made him do the worst thing I could think of for peeing on his sister... He had to tell her he was sorry and that he would never do it again and then... are ya ready... I made him hug her neck and give her a...KISS! This just about did him in! It is so nice to know there is one thing, well 2 that I can get to him with! No TV is the other - but it was to long until bed time for that one to work.
Anyway, I am so tired! You would not think clearing a 13 foot circle of all the grass would take so long and be so tiring! I think the fact that it was 85/90 degrees out side played into it!
But I have to agree with the kids on this one, I am ready for the pool to be up! I want in it! I got a solar blanket to put on it but I am not sure I am going to need it right now!
So as of right now, I am hoping to get the pool up Monday. Mike will be here and he can finish the leveling up of the ground. Then we will have to fill it up. And get the wrinkles out, as best I can. So maybe Tuesday we can get in it and play. We shall see.
Gave the monkeys baths tonight. I thought that Abbie was really dirty. Nope - she is that tan. Got that from her daddy - Not me. I wish I tanned like she does. But for me to have a tan it takes LOTS & LOTS of work. I plan on doing some of that (in new pool). Maybe the monkeys will go to granny's for a couple of days!
Well my kitchen looks like all h@$$ broke loose in there so I guess I need to get started on it. I don't even want to think about the clothes that need to be washed. Maybe I will think about that Monday, if I have time!

Hot Summer - already!

After much thought I went and got the monkeys a pool with a filter. I am so tired of trying to wash all the slime out of the small pools. What I was not thinking about was that the ground where said pool will be going is anything but level! So for 4 hours this morning I worked on leveling up the ground. I might have 1/4 of the 12 1/2' circle that has to be leveled up. And that is a really big might! So for the next several days I will be working on this. To bad Mike is at work for the next few days or he could help! I am so glad that we decided not to get a big pool. I don't think I could have dealt with that! When I get it all level with in reason, I will be making pictures.

It has been for the most part pretty quite around here. I have been trying to get the monkeys out of the house as much as possible. We have not been doing a lot of loafing. The van is sick. We have had it worked on and it did no good. Alan is taking a shot at it, maybe tomorrow. I want my van fixed. It is much easier that the car with the monkeys. Maybe soon!!!!

Today has been a "fun" day. I was working in the yard - leveling for the pool. The kids were fighting. And fighting. And fighting. And when they got over their fighting they fought some more. It took me awhile to realize what the problem was. Last night they wanted to stay up and play, stupid me let them.

Let see, just the high lights from today:

*Andy & Levi throwing rocks (BIG rocks) up in the air over their heads and then running! I was on the phone with Alan when they did this, I started yelling for them to stop. Alan was horse laughing! He thinks it is funny they are into everything!

*Andy told Levi "Back up some, I am going to throw this rock at you". Yea, I was still on the phone with Alan. He liked this on also!

*Andy and Levi got in a fight in the bathroom over who was going to wash their hands first. This turned bad fast. They both came out of the bathroom with bite marks. Sorry to much fighting today. Sympathy is all gone!

*Andy came running into the dinning room and ran into the wall. His nose and the wall were not getting along and the wall won that one! He like to have never caught his breath. Then he cried for 15 mins. I know it hurt!

*Abbie went into Andy's room and picked up his walkie talkie. Andy did not like this so he leaned over and bit her on the hand. THEN the screaming started. And this girl can do some screaming!

It was like this on and off all day, mostly on! Needless to say, they went to bed at 7:00 to night. Abbie went to sleep before 7:30. The boys were awake later but they were in their beds resting. So I am hoping that tomorrow is a better day! Not sure I can take another one like today!

Well I am heading to bed now, got to get some rest just in cast they are not in a better mood tomorrow!

I have a prayer request for everybody. This is a picture of Cassidy. She is 16 years old. She was in a 4-wheeler accident a week ago. She has head injuries. Please say a prayer for Cassidy and her family. Thanks!

Here is my princess. She HATES for me to even comb her hair, but she let me braid it the other day! It was so cute! I hope she will let me do it again soon!

Levi's room... I have been working on it. I was really close to having it done. One more night hopefully. And then I left the monkeys in the house with Mike so I could do somethings outside. When I was almost finished I asked Mike what the kids were doing, he told me playing in their rooms. OK - I thought he was checking on them ever so often. You know, like you do with 4 year olds. So I finished up out side and came in. First thing I do is go check on them. GOOD THING I DID! This is what I found.

This is just the carpet, not where they painted on the walls, chest of drawers and other things! So I asked Mike when he checked on them. Well, I am not sure he did. I was told they were playing and I left them alone. So, I got to clean the carpet, over and over and over. It is still there and you can still see it. But I could not get anymore of it up. I guess it just goes with the nail polish they poured out in there a couple of years ago!

So that is red nail polish with yellow and slate black paint. That is just in 4 1/2 years. I shutter to think what this carpet will look like but they time they are teenagers! Oh well, it is just carpet! Thinking about Cassidy makes you think about your priorities!

Anyway, here is Levi's room. It is almost finished. But the almost part is going to have to wait a little while. I am tired, my hands are swelling and throbbing so I will finish it later! But It looks pretty good if I do say so my self!

Here is Levi's Batman bat signal. Well that is what he tells me it is. I think it turned out pretty good, doing it free hand. They "helped" me with this also so I had to try and smooth up the sides. As long as you don't get to close you can't tell! But he likes it and that is all that matters!

They went to the dentist this past Tuesday. They did great! Levi even let them look at his teeth! I was so proud! Now we have got to work on them brushing their teeth better. They are doing good but their is some room for improvement!

I want to wish Alan & Cheryl a Happy (belated) Birthday! There is something about birthdays in this family. Alan & Cheryl's are in May. Mom & dad's are in June. Mike & mine are in Aug. The monkeys & John John's are in Nov. Em's & mamaw's were the same day in July. I guess we just like grouping things together, like monkeys!

My great aunt Opal died Thursday. We went to the funereal home last night. It is good to see family that you have not seen in a while. But I sure wish it was under different circumstance's!

The monkeys are wanting to go out and play in their pool. So I guess we are going to head outside now!

The Rainbow Play Ground, Andy's Room & Locks

When I was little, I LOVED staying with my granny! She lived in Ranburne. I was there anytime my mom & dad would let me go! My granny is in heaven now. Where she lived in Ranburne the church now owns it and they have put a little playground. When Abbie saw it she called it the rainbow play ground. Last week I called Nicole to see if she wanted to bring Reese and meet me down there for the kids to play. So we did. They kids all had a good time! We will be going back to let them play some more! Next time Lori has to bring Alyssa & Jackson!

We wanted to look in where granny lived but they tore the porches off and there was no way to get into the apartment anymore. It looked so small from the outside. I remember it being so much bigger! I have so many good memories of my granny! I wish she had got to know the monkeys! They have ways so much like her! My granny loved to argue - these 3 would argue with a sign post and get mad because it did not argue back, just like my granny!

For a while I have been thinking about doing the boys rooms over. Letting the have more say i what was in their rooms. Well, I guess that time has come. I have finished Andy's room. Guess what is in there... be ya can't! Spider man! And who is surprised by that! He also got to pick out the color for his walls. They are a BRIGHT orange/red! It looks a lot better than I thought it would. But now he stays in his room, not Abbie's all the time. I have a few more things to go on his walls, but other than that his is finished. Levi's is next, I am going to try to start it the end of this week. Here are a few pictures of Andy's room.

I need to explain some thing in this picture. I have bought so many trash cans for their rooms. One way or the other they get busted. I have to toss them and get another one. Well I got tried of this and the last time I went out and got some of the 5 gal. buckets Mike had out back. These make good trash cans and so far they have not been able to destroy one of these! So that is what the bucket is for you see in the picture. I am going to get some plastic paint and paint them some times. Just wanted to make sure they were going to survive before I did!

Andy & Levi have got to where they can open the doors going out side. The main problem with this is they want to do it at 7:00 in the morning. If you know me you know I am not a morning person. I am up around 8, sometimes a little before. Abbie has woke me up a couple of days with "Bozs out side, Bozs out side!" This is not a good thing to get woke up with! So that night before I went to bed I put hooks of the front door & the door into the utility room. It took them all of one day to figure these out.

The next step was the chain locks. I put these on. It took them a couple of days to figure these out. It is amazing what a 4 year old can do with a broom stick! The funny thing about this is they want me to know they can do it. They opened the one in the kitchen and then called me in there to show me they could open it!

OK - They can side the little thing over and unhook it. So let see how they do with this.

So far I am winning this one. I have been putting the broom in the utility room and even if they had it I think this one would be much harder to get undone! So far it is working. The next step is new dead bolts that you have to have a key from both sides! I am thinking they may have to be purchased in the next few weeks. I don't get ahead of them often and when I do it does not last long!

The monkeys all have to go to the dentist Tuesday. Abbie and Andy do good. Levi has still not really let them look at his teeth good. I have my fingers crossed that he will this time. He said he would but we shall see!

All the monkeys are in bed & Mike is at work. It is starting to rain so I might make any early night of it and get some much needed sleep!

Summer Time Fun!

Today we decided that it was warm enough to get the pool out. Now if the water will decide that it should get warm! IT WAS COLD!!!! The monkeys kept asking me to get in... nope maybe tomorrow. Have to wait and see how warm it is then. They played for about an hour and had a ball! So I am thinking this is where we are going to be spending a lot of our time! I told Mike I have another pool and I might have to get it out so that I can get in with out them drowning me! I am thinking it might be big enough to put a float in for me. That would work, but if I was in it the monkeys would think they had to be in it with me!

All 3 of them are kicking in the water. Now if they could stand water in their face, we would be making some progress!

"Bufessor" & the Tractor Show

I walked out on the carport the other day and the cat had a lizard playing with it. It was so funny. He chased the poor lizard all over the place then would bring it back to the steps to show it to me. Before I got the camera out to make a picture he was showing it to me and the lizard jumped straight up and grabbed his bottom lip. I laughed so hard. He was trying to get the lizard off him and I wish I had of had my video camera for that. But the kids came out to see Bufessor & the lizard. Bufessor thought they were going to take it away from him . It was just the laugh I needed that day!

We carried the kids to the tractor show last Saturday. Levi remembered last year that there were chickens there. So the first place that we had to go was the chickens. I swear that boy should have feathers! He lives off chicken and all he wanted to do was go see the chickens!

How do you like their caps? They got these last year and put them up so they would be able to wear them back this year. They still look brand new!

After the tractor show we went to a pic nick with granny. It was at my moms work. They had 3 bounce things set up. The kids were not really fond of the food but they had a ball in the bounce things.

Yesterday we spent the day waiting for UPS to get here. We ordered Abbie a big wheel, pink & purple. The boys got a might wheels. I ordered them big wheels but they were back ordered so many times I found something else. I told them I could get them a big wheel, pink & purple. But they didn't seem to be interested in that, as a matter a fact it made them mad that I even asked them! Anyway we were watching for UPS all day. About 6:30 I told Mike I didn't think they were coming. I walked out on the porch and there they were. We had been out side all day and the kids had been watching for them and we still missed them. I don't know how long they had been out there. We got them put together and they rode them until I made them come in and go to bed. They got up this morning wanting to go out and ride some more.

They rode their rides all morning this morning. Then they decided to get the side walk chalk out. This would have been fine but the caught me doing something and poured out water on the carport and then ground up the side walk chalk in the water. This made a paste... Then they walked in it and rubbed it all over each other. They were so dirty! I wish I had got the camera out. But when I caught them going in the front door, on the carpet I just stuck them in the tub!

I am not sure what we are going to do tomorrow. I want to move some monkey grass. If they will behave and not get into everything I might get it done, yea right!

I broke down and pulled out the water colors the other day. The monkeys had a ball! Now they are wanting to do finger painting... I have not got my nerve up for that one yet!

I had to add these pictures. We got a new bubble machine and the monkeys were having a ball chasing bubbles. I was sitting out in the yard watching them and I noticed there was a deputy sheriff just almost stopping in front of the house. Well after slowing down really slow he went on up the road. He turned around and came back, almost stopping again. I really didn't think that much about it at the time, but later I got to thinking about what it must of looked like to him. I don't think he could see the bubbles from the road and the kids were running around swatting at something and I was just sitting there. I would love to know what he was thinking! If you look really close you can see the bubbles in the pictures.

My dirty monkeys! They had so much fun - ate so much junk - I didn't think they would be asleep at midnight. But they were a asleep by 9:00! I have come to the conclusion that sugar really does not effect the way they act. Or they would have been wild!

Some funnies the monkeys have came up with:

Abbie asked me why did her daddy & me share a room. I told her that after each of them got their rooms there was only one left and we had to share. She then told me that she wanted me to share with her. I told her I could not do that because daddy was scared of the dark and I had to stay with him. Then Andy & Levi decided to get into the conversation. They decided they would sleep with daddy and they would bring their "frashlights" so daddy would not be scared. I finally just let it go, before I got into it any deeper with them!

When we go to town the boys have to stop and look at everything! I will tell Abbie to tell them bye. When she does this they come running. The last time we went to town the boys stopped looking at something and I told Abbie to tell them bye. She looked at me and said "NO, then they will come on". It did not take her long to figure this out and I don't think it would hurt her feelings if we lost them sometimes!

The light in the kids bathroom shot a few days ago. I went in there to change it and Abbie followed me in there. She looked at me and said "I have needed to go for 5 LOOOONG days and now that you fixed the light I can.". The light might have been out 3 mins. I told her the toilet worked with out the light. She got this shocked look, I don't think she believed me!
